The Languedoc Region, France, a visit in 2015

In my opinion, the best time of the year to visit the Languedoc region is around the end of August/beginning of September. This is my favourite time of the year in this region, where the grapes are ready for harvesting and the wild figs are perfectly ripe.

One of my sisters-in-law lives here, so we do visit the area rather often. Everything seems perfect around this place; the cities, the country walks, the lovely beaches, the wild fruits, open-air cooking and dining, the food, the wine – really a never-ending list of lovely things to enjoy.

This year is just one of the many annual visits we do to this region, really never had enough of this place. A mixture of city and country holiday is always perfect.

The trams here are beautifully decorated.

Organic grapes picking, I couldn’t ask for more… my favourite things to do.

Enjoying the most amazing French food, nothing will go wrong, plenty of scrumptious food to choose from.
